Relying on the international cooperation base, the China National Research Institute of Food & Fermentation Industries Co., Ltd (CNRIFFI) has undertaken more than 200 foreign aid training projects of the Chinese government since 2005, and has trained over 8000 officials and technicians from 134 countries and regions. Highly appraised by the competent departments of the Chinese government, the governments of the recipient countries, the trainees and their units, it has provided a boost to the construction of the “Belt and Road Initiative”, publicized and established the international image of China’s food industry to the vast number of developing countries, and established an extensive food industry exchange network in developing countries all over the world.

Program for running the course: closely focus on the overall situation of China’s development and serve the country’s external work and the sustainable development of developing countries

The goals of the course: to publicize and display the technical development level and achievements of China’s food industry; to build a network of domestic and foreign food industry experts and a platform for trainees from developing countries to communicate

The objective of the course: to promote the progress and economic development of food and biotechnology in developing countries, and provide services for domestic food enterprises to “go out”

Working languages: 13 languages, including English, French, Russian, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Lao, Swahili, Mongolian, Korean, Cambodian, Vietnamese and Rwanda

Training topics: 13 topics, including food safety testing and management, application of biotechnology in food industry, processing and preservation technology of agricultural products, food processing and preservation technology, fruit processing and comprehensive utilization, liquor circulation management and promotion, import and export food inspection and quarantine, food nutrition and hotel management, grain processing and testing technology, beer brewing technology, cooking technology and nutritional diet, supply chain technology of modern agricultural products, deep processing and quality control of livestock and poultry products

Project types: bilateral training in China, multilateral training in China, overseas training, and online training launched in 2021

Training forms: the combination of indoor lectures, visits, visits and discussions

Training contents: share the development concept of China’s industry and provide the development experience with strong operability and direct reference; help the trainees sort out the problems and challenges of their own development through case analysis, experience sharing and investigations; integrate superior resources to promote follow-up project cooperation
