Relying on the functions of the Secretariat of the Can Sub-Standardization Committee of the National Food Industry Standardization Committee and the Secretariat of the Technical Committee of Thin-walled Metal Containers of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO/TC52), we carry out basic research on the standardization of packaging materials:
1) standardized quality and safety evaluation of packaging materials.
It mainly evaluates the quality and safety of metal packaging substrates, containers, metal covers and solid cans of food, beverage and beer products. The main cooperation units include Standard O'Ruijin, Cofco Packaging, Yiwu easy cover, Huayuan Holdings, Shantou Yinglian lid, Bianxin can, Shanghai Merlin, Happy Home, Eagle money, Dehe and other domestic cans and cans manufacturers.
2) domestic and international standardization of packaging materials.
A number of national and industry standards related to metal packaging materials have been formulated, and the revision of ISO/TC 52 international standards is being promoted. At present, it has organized and completed the formulation of a series of standards for metal materials, empty cans and caps for canned food, and is actively promoting international standardization.
3) Scientific research on the standardization of packaging materials.
We will actively carry out basic scientific research on the standardization of packaging materials, focusing on the adaptability of food and packaging, evaluation of corrosion resistance quality of packaging, evaluation of shelf life of canned food, risk assessment of food packaging and so on. Undertake a number of scientific research projects related to packaging materials, such as the "13th five-year Plan" national key research plan, "Belt and Road Initiative" research project, National risk Assessment Center project and so on.
